It is now ten and a half people months since I arrived here, and for the first time in my life, I got a Christmas tree and sent out Christmas cards! I got a present a while back from the people who looked after me whilst Mum was away - a nice pack of special seed. Yummy! And today, a card came addressed to Dog Angela and me in response to the cards we sent out. This photo was used on my card, and the one below is what Angela selected for her personal card.

The Christmas tree stayed for the photo taking episode (I posed for about forty photos, folks) nd then departed. I was quite glad, actually - it fell into my cage at one stage. I did not really like that.

I hope that you all, bird friends and people friends, have a peaceful and blessed Christmas.

Merry Christmas, Bibbie. We are all glad your mum is home safe and that you are doing well.

Angela Dog is so cute in her Santa cap.

Things here have not been so much fun. My mom's mom (Sammy's mom) had surgery so Mom and us birds went south to take of her.

I wonder, is my mom's mom my grandmom?

I have travelled now 10,400 miles without lifting a wing. The room service has been pretty good, too.

Mom tries really hard to get the same motel room on these trips so I don't get upset about the environmental changes. So far it's working because we haven't been thrown out of our accommodations, despite my screaming. I've gotten better about the screaming. She's gets us the room on the end of the building. We only annoy one traveling troupe that way instead of two.

Chinese take-out is not so bad. I like the noodles, Sammy eats the rice and we both are crazy for sesame chicken. Mom says it's bad for us, but decided that eating it once a year probably won't kill us. If it did, I don't know if I'd care, it tastes so good.

Anyway, a very Merry Christmas to you and your family and I hope you get lots of really tasty gifts.

Your friend in the States,
Joonie, Sammy, Skyler, and Daisy (who is sitting on two eggs right now)

I stumbled across your blog and have to comment that I love your cute holiday picture. None of my pets were cooperative enough this year to give me a decent photo for the Christmas card.
